Will you join us to support vulnerable young people in Brighton & Hove?

Due to the impact of Covid-19, the numbers of young people in crisis and seeking support have escalated.

YMCA YAC (Youth Advice Centre) in Brighton & Hove supports 1,700 young people in crisis every year.

YMCA YAC is there for every young person. It is the one place young people can go to when they are alone and vulnerable.

It provides support and advice on housing, mental health, abuse, exploitation, bullying, finance…. everything a young person in crisis would need.

YMCA YAC is vitally important to vulnerable young people in our city, now more than ever.

Our support will help keep YMCA YAC in Brighton open.

Our annual donation will directly support young people in crisis with the following;

  • Providing a safe space to access emotional, health and wellbeing services, helping with any worry or issue
  • Family mediation, supporting young people through difficulties at home, preventing homelessness
  • Providing support and advice for young people who are at risk, or threatened with homelessness

‘We continue to support YMCA DLG because of the important work they do in the fight against homelessness in our city’s younger generation. Covid has put huge pressure on these vital resources and being part of the Membership Movement ensures that these services can continue to be provided’.
