The Law Society has accredited the first group of law firms to its new Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS). Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP Solicitors are one of the first 40 firms to secure accreditation.

The scheme is aimed at Solicitors Regulation Authority regulated practices that offer Will drafting, Probate and Estate Administration services.

Accreditation is awarded to firms who demonstrate to clients their commitment to the highest standards of client service.

Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP has undergone a rigorous assessment to gain the WIQS accreditation. The Tax, Trusts & Estates Team at Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP undertake wide-ranging training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain the highest standards of client service and WIQS status.

nadia-cowdrey_newsNadia Cowdrey, LLP Partner/Solicitor and Head of the Tax, Trusts & Estates Team said “WIQS is an important stringent quality standard reinforcing the importance of using a Solicitor for Will writing and Estate Administration. It offers reassurance to clients and enables Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP to stand out in an increasingly crowded and diverse market. Anyone can set up as a Will writer but, only a law firm with qualified Solicitors meeting high standards can be members of WIQS. It is hoped that this scheme will assist clients making an informed choice about who is best placed to write their Will or administer an estate.
