Right to Manage

The right to manage refers to the statutory right for flat owners to take over the management of their building.

It is an economical alternative to buying the freehold and allows flat owners to appoint directly accountable managing agents. This brings substantial savings on items such as building insurance and administrative charges.

Although the right to manage is not dependent on a negligent landlord or a poorly maintained building, it is procedurally complex. Our commercial team are highly experienced in this field and more than a match for even the most difficult landlord.
