Covid-19: How we are currently operating

We are very much available and happy to assist with your new or existing matter. We would like to let you know that some of our staff are now working remotely but we do have some team members in our Brighton and Hassocks offices and you can continue to email or call us as normal.

We are happy to have face to face meetings, but our team are very happy to arrange telephone or video meetings if you would prefer. Email or call us so that we can discuss how best we can help you.

Please bear in mind that the reduced staff presence at our offices means we can only see clients by pre-arranged appointment where this is important for the conduct of a matter. As of 8 August it is now mandatory for all visitors to wear face masks/coverings to all of our offices (unless you are exempt).

Our overall approach is to follow the guidance issued by Public Health England (PHE), which can be found using the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance.

If we do arrange to meet, we ask you to follow PHE guidance concerning:

  • thorough and frequent hand washing (sanitiser will be available at our offices)
  • social distancing guidelines
  • coughing and sneezing into tissues and disposing of them
  • avoiding touching your face
  • wearing a face mask or covering (unless exempt)

We also ask you to observe wider PHE guidance concerning possible self-isolation if you display symptoms of Covid-19, have been in close contact with others displaying symptoms or have recently returned to the UK from certain other countries.
